At approximately age six – seven, Esther was discovered sitting next to a tree in a remote area of Marble Falls. The typical behavior of abandoned dogs is to ‘wait’ for an owner to return. But her owner had no intention of doing such a compassionate thing. Esther is heartworm positive and has begun the three-month protocol of fast-kill.

Once healthy, Esther can live away from the sanctuary as a Forever Foster resident.
