When 'Marking' Is A Good Thing

Often, good Samaritans or desperate pet owners find themselves locked out of surrendering a stray or companion pet to a nearby shelter. Why?

So you can stop scratching a big hole in your noggin, here's one of the reasons: wrong zip code. It's all about the money allocated in the form of county budgets (priorities), grants, and contracts. Animal welfare agencies, shelters, and many large rescue/adoption organizations compete for a slice of the revenue pie.

Hence, violation of "the rules" could result in not only having animal welfare paws slapped but a devastating cutback in their life-saving work. None of us want that to happen!

Living Grace Canine Ranch (LGCR) does not accept government monies. Further, we motion ‘no thank you’ of restrictive foundation grants dictating senior dogs’ medical and emotional needs. Free from conditional financial tethering and zip code boundaries, LGCR provides unprecedented medical care and a lifestyle environment that promotes wellness, and life enjoyment versus suffering and fear.

Organized as an IRS 501 (c) (3) under the visionary leadership of Rhonda Minardi, ‘The Ranch’ marks Texas statewide, saving, serving, and valuing the lives of adoption-disadvantage senior dogs.

Located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, 'The Ranch' is a beacon of hope, health, and a haven for all breeds, regardless of medical, physical, and emotional challenges. Before arriving at The Ranch, many residents’ life journeys have been medical neglect and abandonment. Yet, somehow they survived, and much to their tail-wagging surprise, life is instantly experienced as being unconditionally loved.

Protecting and serving disadvantaged senior dogs that desire nothing more than to feel worthy of human love is both our honor and privilege. If you share our values, we humbly ask for your financial blessing today.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28
